Where Skating Starts — and Grows
Since 1970, the Cayuga Skating Club has been helping skaters of all ages discover the confidence, skills and joy that come from being on the ice.
As a not-for-profit Skate Canada club, we offer quality skating programs for Cayuga and surrounding communities — from a skater's very first steps through CanSkate, to continued skill development and figure skating through our Pre-STAR and STARSkate programs.
Our story began in a small rink at the corner of Talbot and Thorburn. In 2011, we moved into our current arena, but the heart of our club has remained the same: community, development and a love of skating.
More Than Learning to Skate
We believe skating can take you wherever you want to go.
For some, that means learning the skills and confidence to enjoy the ice with family and friends. For others, it's building a strong foundation for hockey, ringette or another ice sport. And for our figure skaters, it's progressing from CanSkate through Pre-STAR and STARSkate while working toward new skills, goals and achievements.
Whatever the destination, we're proud to be part of the journey.
A Small Club with a Strong Community
Our club is powered by dedicated coaches, volunteers, families and skaters who create a welcoming and supportive environment both on and off the ice.
We celebrate progress at every level — from standing up independently for the first time to mastering a challenging new skill. Those moments of confidence, accomplishment and connection are what make our club special.
